I've been making stuffed toys since I started sewing in 7th grade. Some came out really neat, others not so much. Along the way I learned a lot about how to construct toys. I've had this Santa pattern for years, last time I made this, I was living in my own apartment, making all of my Christmas gifts. I pulled this pattern out the other day, it is called Patchwork Santa by Eleanor Burns. I then went and bought a piece of each of this new holiday collection from Free Spirit fabrics. This is the result. I have a feeling he will be a class at the Quilt Shop. Have a wonderful Fourth of July! I'm working on another stuffed toy! Stay tuned.
