Have you ever tried making a Yellow Brick Road quilt?  We have fat quarter packs ready from our  new Blue and yellow group from Moda.  We even have the  Yellow Brick Road pattern by Terri Atkinson.  If you have never made one, you are in for a treat, it is easy!

All done!  This is the Auntie's Too, Auntie's sewing basket.   I've added it to our Auntie's Too collection at the Quilt Shop.
We have a busy week coming up..... Our beginners class starts next Saturday.  We also have our Cut Flowers class after that.  There is still room in it if you are interested.
It's a great way to use up some of that stash, Amy used Kaffe fabrics, but I think you can use just about anything.

There is still room in our Constellation of Stars class too!

Remember, you can sign up for classes over the phone!  203-743-0543

Snow snow....

Well, it is a snowy day.  The Quilt shop is not open right now, we are waiting for the weather and the roads to improve.  I'll post as soon as we are open.
Last week during the sale, everyone was making the Auntie's Too bags.  Lois made one, Amy, Ginny, Mary, and that left me......  They kept telling me how much fun it was.
Then yesterday I found this pattern that I had purchased a while ago....
After having a very long day at school yesterday I stopped at the Quilt Shop.  I treated myself to a new Bali Pop group, ( it's like a rainbow,)  then this morning I started.  The pattern calls for clothesline inside the strip, but I am using flannel.   I need 20 strips.... 5 done.....
I just love the bow on the top.  Stay tuned..... I'll post my progress.
